I'll upload (overdue) pictures. Yes, pictures that were supposed to be posted a week ago or so. I have not been blogging for quite a long time. The last entry was on the 19th of January. Pardon me!
As you can see, I've changed my blog skin in which I completed on Friday and it was recently up. I know it takes quite long but at the time when I was doing it, halfway I just don't know what or how I wanted it to be but hey, it's completed and enough, it's up and running. Oh, one more thing - I am disappointed that Roger Federer lost to Rafael Nadal (again) to win the Australian Open! *sigh* Not only that . . . . . . . .
(WARNING: From this moment on, it is all about football in this entry, I really cannot take it, I have to ease my pain.)
Let me just vent all my anger and sadness to make myself feel better.
FOOTBALL CAN MAKE ME ONE GO MAD. It is so bitter and painful but let me be frank (so don't say I am bias!) and type about how I feel of the Liverpool versus Chelsea game. I am just so angry that STUPID REFEREE MIKE BALDLY (Baldy, blind, bald) sent Frank Lampard off - Excuse me, I mean Mike Riley.
I know some people might argue that Chelsea were not playing well and say that Liverpool were the better team. Ok, fair play. They were attacking and Chelsea's passing was all over the place. HOWEVER, please please... A referee should not be bias.
Mike Riley is a disgrace to the game. Steven Gerrard too.
Earlier on in the game, when the referee had already blew the whistle, Steven Gerrard kicked the ball straight at Jose Bosingwa and mind you, would you like someone to kick the ball at your 'sensitive' part? I'm pretty sure you do not want something like that to happen.
The previous day before this match, Stoke against Manchester City - I saw the highlights of Rory Delap and it's somewhat similar to the incident that happened in the Liverpool against Chelsea game. In the Stoke game, Rory Delap (Stoke player) got sent off for that similar action towards Shaun Wright-Philips.
Ok, some might argue and say it's a little different and things like that but hey, how many times do you see Steven Gerrard getting away with all those?
No doubt that he's a great player for Liverpool, however his attitude and tendency of diving in the penalty area and is seriously such a disgrace. Then again, do you see him being sent off or anything like that? In my eyes, I feel that the referee has this mentality - "HEY, IT'S STEVEN GERRARD".
SO WHAT?? Had it been, ok for example CRISTIANO RONALDO - Everybody knows he loves to dive. Yes, I admit I am no fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and my friends would know that I dislike his attitude and I even nicknamed him - "Cristiano Diverdo", no doubt he is a good player with good skills.
Back to the point now. Had it been Cristiano Ronaldo to do that, I think everyone (Ok, except Manchester United fans) would be screaming at the top of their lungs and rant all kinds of "colourful" words like - "You *insert whatever word here* cheat!", "*Insert your words* diver!". Agree?
So why is Steven Gerrard always an angel in the referees' eyes? People simply love this guy and if you're a Liverpool fan you would love him even more like how I love Frank Lampard (because I'm a Chelsea supporter but I am not being bias here).
Then again, it is so unfair. My point is: Why does Steven Gerrard gets away with such things? WHY? Is that justice? That is injustice. You can say what you want but I feel that way, that is fact and I am just stating fact.
It is very disappointing to see my favourite team losing in the final minutes of the game. No doubt Liverpool were attacking but it might have been different if we were playing with 11 men against 11. Sadly, MIKE BALDY (I mean MIKE RILEY) wrongly sent Frank Lampard off.
This referee seriously have to look at the replays 10 thousand times! That was a very poor decision and I feel it somehow cost us the game. I am aware that my team were not really attacking. Only 1 shot on target which was saved comfortably by Pepe (Jose) Reina and if I'm not wrong that shot coming from Salomon Kalou.
Florent Mamamamama... What's his name? Ahhh! Malouda, oh boy. He really was unknown. It's like he did not exist! I somehow defended him earlier on in the season as I am aware he has like 6 assist to his name in the Premier League. Then again, looking at the big picture, he really disappointed me.
Ok, to be fair - He has been in and out of the team as he had some injuries and all. HOWEVER, with that kind of performance (or should I simply say being inconsistent), I feel maybe Luiz Felipe Scolari should drop him to the bench and maybe start with Deco (Alright, this guy was fantastic at the start and then started to fade away after his injury) - If Mr Scolari wants to go with experienced, if not... He could try and start Miroslav Stoch.
Didier Drogba? - His current form has been poor. Very disappointing. He could not provide that attacking threat like he used to. Having said that and knowing that Chelsea will not bring in any new players in the January transfer (and you know what? WE DO NOT HAVE THE FIREPOWER UNFRONT!), I am hoping that Didier Drogba will be back at his best form (umm... minus his attitude).
If he is at his best form, that's where he terrorise the defenders. He's like a 'bulldozer' bullying the defenders. I remember when he was at his best two seasons ago and oh boy, I don't think any team, especially the defenders want to play against Chelsea if Didier Drogba was playing then.
It is just sad. At the beginning of the season, everything was going smoothly. We were winning (And yes, Florent Mamamama... Malouda was playing those league games, DO YOU KNOW?) - Top of the table and now, it's fading away. My heart is aching.
I don't think the other teams are afraid to play against Chelsea anymore. You see, especially at home at Stamford Bridge which was once a fortress. Nobody wanted to go to Stamford Bridge and play because it's more like "Chelsea sure win game", only the lucky teams come away with a point.
The team that broke Chelsea's home record of FOUR AND A HALF YEARS UNDEFEATED was... *sigh* Was... Was... I HATE THAT TEAM!! None other than, Liverpool. Guess what? The player that I fancied scored! (Ok, some deflection off Jose Bosingwa)
From that day onwards, I don't want to fancy that player because he plays for the rival team and he was the one that broke my favourite LOVELY *sigh... can't believe I said LOVELY* team home record of 86 games unbeaten.
Who is that guy some might not know - It's none other than Xabi Alonso!!!
Surprise, surprise... Guess what? Earlier on in the game, Frank Lampard got sent off when he clearly made a clean tackle and the player that kicked/stepped on Frank Lampard's shin was none other than... None other than - Xa... Xabi... Alonso. *sigh*
Xabi Alonso is a good player BUT no, I now changed my mind. I don't want to like that player. If I were to choose a player that I like (but plays for the rival team) or my favourite team, OF COURSE the answer is obvious - MY FAVOURITE TEAM.
So, why did Mike Riley sent Frank Lampard off?? That was a very bad decision. He screwed it up!
Ok, Chelsea did not play well. The ball was mostly played in midfield for Chelsea and oh boy, bad passes even though in the first half Chelsea had more possession than Liverpool. Liverpool were attacking and ok, I can say that we defended quite well. Most notably ALEX the tanker that constantly cleared all the dangers.
Petr Cech might be somewhat shaky BUT he did make some good saves. However, if you are considered as one of the best keepers it is hard with all the expectations. People always expect more from you, umm... So I guess people think Petr Cech should have done much much MUCH better I suppose?
As for Pepe (Jose) Reina, what does he has to do? Only one shot on target and he saved that comfortably as it wasn't really going to trouble him!
Disappointed, very disappointed. Michael Ballack was average, I still feel that Frank Lampard offered more. When Mike Riley sent him off, straight away one thing comes to my mind - GAME OVER!
My MAN OF THE MATCH would be ALEX. In any case, Fernando Torres was the Man of The Match but in my eyes and if I were to find something good to say about my team, I can proudly say that Alex was really a tank (ok, could have done a little bit more to prevent Torres for the first goal but overall, he worked so hard!).
In which I have to say I am disappointed with John Terry the captain. Captain Marvel - JT, what's happening to you? Alex was protecting you, getting your back!
With all the injuries JT picked up, he now seems slightly slower. Probably that's why I did not vote for him in the UEFA Team of the Year or something like that. Despite not voting for him, looking on the brighter side (though in this game he was disappointing!) he gave his all for the team when he plays and I still believe in him.
So... Guess who I voted for? I don't think you would believe me if I tell you. Alright, one of my vote goes to Ricardo Carvalho (he has done well for the team in the past few years but was an unsung hero), guess the other one. (I'll tell you the answer later on. If you want to know the answer, read on.)
I voted for Frank Lampard for the Attacking Midfield section as he has been wonderful for the team in the past few seasons. He always works hard for the team and always trying to provide something for the team. Not forgetting, scoring 20 goals in the past few seasons!
*sigh* I can't believe Chelsea only managed to pick up 1 point against their rivals and that 1 point was against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge (AND... That was the last undefeated game at Home).
I am beginning to doubt that Chelsea would win anything this season. Forget Champions League, forget the Premier League (if you are going to keep dropping points!). FA Cup? I don't know about that but being an optimist, hmm... Ok, if we are lucky we could, I am not saying WE WILL - Read that carefully. We could win it if we have some luck I suppose?
Then again, that depends on the players themselves. You know? People tend to blame the manager for not doing his job and all. What can Luiz Felipe Scolari do? We don't have much wingers. This Brazilian man likes to play with wingers but how can we play with wingers when Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou isn't very consistent?
Joe Cole being ruled out of the season is really a bad news. The team is suffering and the fans are suffering too. Chelsea really miss players such as Damien Duff, Arjen Robben (my favourite player).
When Damien Duff was at Chelsea he was good but now I guess he's out of favour at Newcastle. Arjen Robben is my favourite player. YES, see that? IS. Alright, that man may have dived a couple of times but he's quick and I feel that Chelsea really need that sort of player.
Only one problem with Arjen Robben: Injury-prone. That's very frustrating! Other than that, he is a good player.
How about bringing in David Silva? I would love to see him playing for Chelsea but I don't think that will happen. Then there were speculation linking David Villa to Chelsea, it would be a delight for me had he joined but Valencia desperately would want to hang on to him.
Having said that, I feel that if he was given a choice to pick Chelsea and Liverpool, I think he might fancy Liverpool as there are a few Spaniards. Rafa Benitez (the manager), Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso, Jose Reina - blah blah blah.
Grr... Alright, forget that already. I don't want to go on and on because when I think about it, it makes me even more sad.
HOWEVER, I have to say that Steven Gerrard was a very lucky man to be playing for 90 minutes. I want the video technology thing! Referees this season has been making too many mistakes! If Tennis were allowed to use the video technology thing, why can't football?
It is a shame to let people like him go just like that and he always gives you an innocent look. *sigh*
BOTTOM-LINE IS: LIVERPOOL WILL NOT WIN THE TITLE. Seriously, I do not wish to see them winning and also I don't think they might even win it.
Come on CHELSEA! You got your ass spanked again, now... WORK HARDER! Come on, don't disappoint us! As a supporter we always get behind the team and give them the support but to constantly disappoint us, I am just upset about it.
You see, football is a very funny game. It is so unpredictable and it can give you a heart attack!
That's how I somehow just don't understand myself. I wasn't into club football then even though I fancied Manchester United then because David Beckham was playing for them (but I wasn't really into them). I only watched World Cup and Euros - The team that I support is ENGLAND! (Since 2002)
I only got so into club football about four years ago and I don't know how or what makes me like CHELSEA SO MUCH. To be honest, if they lose a game, I'll get very upset and sometimes a little cranky. When they win, obviously you'll see a big smile on my face and I will be in a very good mood.
People who doesn't understand about football will never understand. It's the passion of the game. The problem that I face at times is that I can get very upset and cranky that I do not wish to talk to anyone.
*sigh* Yes, that's very bad but I always try to console myself later on and probably to ease my pain I'm typing this!
*sob sob* Come on BLUES, please don't disappoint us supporters! Well? What can I say? Life can be cruel at times as there will always be unfair moments. Tell me what is fair? I believe that god is fair but humans? Humans are never fair because there is this thing called "greed".
Alright, I AM GOING TO BE STRONG NOW. *breathes in, breathes out*
Peace out~
MAY LIVERPOOL LOSE THEIR GAMES. God bless. Ok, I'm going to be a little defiant now - Chelsea to win against Hull next week. I somehow fancy Hull as they are a hardworking team but for that game, I'm with my favourite team.
Before I go, I haven't tell you which player I voted for, one is Ricardo Carvalho and the other? It's not JT as I previously mentioned. Come on, make a guess. Who do you want to be in your team (if let's say you can have JT, Ricardo Carvalho...)? Which other central defender do you want to be in your team?
I voted for Philipp Lahm if not wrong for Left-back. Lahmy! C and Q best describes him. Cute and Quick. (:
Frank Lampard didn't get it, Fabregas got it. Actually I was thinking of Frank Lampard, Michael Ballack and Cesc Fabregas - They are good players but in the end, I voted for Frank.
The two forward that I voted won and darn, it's that player who scored against Chelsea earlier on! Fernando Torres. Grrr... The other one player who got my vote was - No, not David Villa. It's Lionel Messi.
So are you done guessing who I voted for? Nope, not Carles Puyol. Nope, not Jamie Carragher. Nemanja Vidic. So, who occupies the central defender spot in UEFA Team of The Year? Beep!~ Ho ho ho~ JOHN TERRY (61,755 votes) and Carles Puyol (49,756).
It's those my heart says this but my head says that. Yes, my heart wanted to vote for John Terry but my head tells me another thing.
If he is Captain Marvel, I am Wonder Woman. LOL. Alright, I was just kidding. John Terry will always have my support and I believe in him. ♥CHELSEA
