It's finally October and oh boy, time flies very fast! I can't believe it!! Boohoo!
I'm finally 18 (4th October; 8.31AM). How does it feels like being 18? You know it's just a number or should I say age. Doesn't mean 18 equals to ADULT. Nah. I refuse to think so.
I just feel that any day, any time it's always a learning journey. In my point of view, no matter what age you are, there's always something to learn and to reflect about. There is no such thing as "I'm an adult now, I don't have to learn anything."
*BEEP!* That would be just so wrong to do/say so. Well? I guess these days people tend to follow the crowd with the usual quote: "I go with the flow."
Going with the flow doesn't mean you are all the time right.
Anyway, let me just spur all my thoughts before I talked about my birthday and all the other stuff.
DIANE'S THOUGHTS/OPINIONS:
+ People simply love to judge others blindly (Yes I admit sometimes I'm also guilty of it. However, I keep reminding myself not to do that. Did you remind yourself of that?)
+ People underestimates you (Some people think I'm like a girly girl and all that kind of stuff. The truth is, I'm not really like that. I guess at different stages, people judge you differently. In Primary - Often called "Tomboy", In Secondary - "Kind of tomboy" and currently? I'm pretty sure some would be like "Girly girl" or worst still, "Not a girl". That simply puts me off.)
+ I don't understand why I have to meet those guys who simply loves to be better than us girls. Some kind of an ego thing. Should you be better than them in a certain area, they get all so mean and "jealous" and sometimes say nasty things just to make your morale go down. How idiotic can that be?
+ I would love to meet more sensible guys. I don't know but it seems like I always have to encounter such insenisble guys who are simply ... Well? Ok, JERKS.
+ I hate it when a guy thinks highly of himself. How many times must I meet this kind of people? Sometimes you just feel like slapping this type of person. I don't welcome a peacock-like person.
+ Then... There is this type of "overly-sensitive" guys who are kind of scary actually. They're like girls. Definitely worst than me. A little bit get all so touchy and all so mushy. Easily hurt and all. (I'm scared of that kind but ok, I have to accept that there are such people around.)
+ Never judge a book by it's cover. However, guys tend to judge a girl by it's looks. Then again, doesn't mean if they say the girl is pretty I would agree because sometimes they are simply not. Though I don't know why the guy says she's pretty. Probably of that fake lashes and eyeliner, you know like those Japanese girls. (No,I am not jealous. I don't why guys would straightaway say that.)
+ You be friends with people because of who they are. Not because of how they look. (If you be friends with people because of their looks, that's plain stupidity.)
+ Guys simply love to compare. (Ok, those that I know but not all) To be fair, us girls also compare. I admit sometimes I do compare but if you really do like that person a lot (or love), would you mind? I know, I won't be comparing who is better and stuff like that. I mean everyone has their uniqueness.
+ (Some) People don't think I play sports (or active) and just a wannabe. I enjoyed it when I was younger and I did play sports. Currently I may not be that very sporty but still, I enjoy walking and rollerblading. At least I'm still trying to have an active lifestyle. May not be "very" but at least minimum. I can't stand when people think it's just a "wannabe".
+ To those who doesn't know me that well, I suggest that person to shut their gap. Seriously, I am sick and tired of all those shit. You want to have a proper conversation, come let's have one. Don't just assume I talk nothing but crap.
+ I just feel that sometimes people should look at themselves first before giving comments. If they themselves aren't good enough or better then I suggest they, themselves should slap themselves.
+ I just don't want to be mean. If I have to, that won't be nice but I guess some people you can't give them face because they don't know the meaning of "respect". If one doesn't respect, why should you respect them?
+ I don't why some people are people who can talk about others but others cannot talk about them. If you want to talk bad about others, others can do the same. I hate it when I don't disturb anyone or say anything bad, someone has to do that to me. You think it's funny? Sometimes being patient doesn't do you any good, I guess.
+ Education is important. Especially in Singapore with the standard of living so expensive and Singapore being the FIFTH MOST EXPENSIVE ASIA COUNTRY. However, besides education, as a human you need to have a sense of humanity. Where are all the values gone to?
OH WELL...
Anyway, my birthday this year (4th October; Saturday), just like every other year. Celebrating it with my family. Hmm? Ok, when I was young, my parents would invite neighbours and all to my birthday party and my most memorable birthday was SEVEN YEARS ago whereby I invited my good friends and my schoolmates.
Oh boy. Even though towards the ending was a bit bitter because someone broke my mother's vase but looking it at as an overall thing, it was terrific. Had lots of fun and all. Oh god, block catching. HAHA. Those days of madness can only be a piece of memory as I don't think I would do that now.
It's like we played block catching and we were half silent, half noisy. HAHA. Ok, there are times we were able to control of the noise level but there were times whereby we were simply LOUD which lead to some people doing this to us - "Shhhhh!"
HAHA. Aww... So it's like we went up and down the block from 1st storey to the 16th storey (Oh,I live on the 14th storey). We sort of played "Police and Thief". I'm the police along with some other friends and some were thieves. Then we went to the carpark. (My mother didn't know about this. Had she knew,I think she'll scold)
Yeah, carpark. I know it's dangerous. Boohoo! Can't believe it. HAHA.
Anyway, BACK TO PRESENT DAY - My mother ordered 100 sticks of satay, 2 large pizzas, barbequed chicken wings and also, Indian Rojak. (Sorry,no pictures. My mind was all on the food, forgot to take pictures!)
Yummy! Tell you what, I was bloated on my birthday. Simply had lots of food to eat. Eat and eat and eat. HAHA. Hmm? Ok, after which we headed to Courts Megastore at Tampines.
Hmm? Ok, that's my gift (see picture) and oh dad finally got me a lamp. HAHA. I waited so long for it and oh well... I finally got it. Boohoo~
BROS (pronounced - Br'oz) polycarbonate bottle. Received it in a Takashimaya paperbag. (: Hmm? Means I can alternate my bottles now. HAHA. My current water bottle is still quite brand new actually because I bought my Adidas [sports] water bottle not so long ago. Hmm? Few months back if not wrong.
Anyway, my first week of October I would describe it as "frustrating". Yes, it can be frustrating at times as people tend to frustrate me. How irritating? Sheesh. VERY!
Anyway, I choose to look on the positive. Go away negative energy, bring me positive energy. Hah!~
You know, I wish I was awake just now to save the trouble. I somehow pity someone because she travelled all the way to Choa Chu Kang. If only I was awake, and had I replied her message, would have save her the trouble. - Then again, how am I supposed to know such thing to happen? Totally unexpected but hey girl, don't keep blaming yourself. (: [you know who you are]

// What does your sleeping position says about you?
What Your Sleeping Position Says
You are calm and rational person with a good deal of balance in your life.
Friends consider you to be kind, caring, and truly loyal.
You are easy going and trusting. However, you are too sensible to fall for mind games.
Open to the world, you are not afraid to be yourself.
If you don't get enough sleep, you are: Able to cope
It's hard to sleep next to you because: You're a bed hog
In love, you are quietly intense, devoted, and tend too hold on too long.
For you, sex is a way to get closer - and a way to take care of your partner.
Overall, you are altruistic and eager to please your sweetie.
However, you tend to also be non-confrontational and secretly frustrated with relationship issues.
Like most sane women, you want a great guy who will treat you well.
But you're also willing to put up with a few flaws in your Mr. Right
You should congratulate yourself on having a realistic approach to dating.
You probably have quite a few great guys you can date!
You're funny, quirky, cute, and sassy.
Guys always have a great time with you, and that alone is sexy.
You've got an upbeat, optimistic spirit that totally shines through.
Any guy would be crazy to turn you down!
Whether you're an official student or a casual learner, you enjoy hitting the books.
You know a little bit about everything, and you're always dying to know more.
For a guy to win your heart, he's got to share some of your intellectual interests.
A awesome book collection of his own doesn't hurt either!
You're barely spoiled. You may have some nice things, but you never let them go to your head.
You appreciate each gift you're given - and you don't dwell on what you "deserve" to have.
Overall, you're a pretty chill person - and you have a good handle on your emotions.
Sometimes your anger gets the best of you, and end up regretting how you act.
Try to curb your temper more often. It only has to get out of control once to do some damage.
